Rinny and Me
Rinny is a violet chinchilla who was born on September 19th of 2012. When I went to get her I had to pick from 3 chinchillas. There were 2 standard grays and her, a violet. As soon as I saw her I fell in love. I didn't even ask to look at the other chinchillas. I held her in my arms and I said, "This is the one I want." From then on me and Rinny have been best friends. She is not just a pet to me like most pets are to people. She is like a daughter to me.
Some things I learned about Rinny are that she loves willow sticks. Willow is her favorite type of wood. She loves to make messes with her toys and when I change her litter tray she loves to make a mess with the new wood shavings. She is very active and loves to run around. When she is playing on the bed in my room she loves when you lay down with her knees up so she can run through your legs and jump all over you. She also loves to sit on peoples shoulders.

Rinny's Home
Rinny's home is a 1 story cage. She has a lot of places to jump on and she loves sleeping on the highest ledges. Her cage is in the room right next to my room so I can still hear her if she is crying, that way I can help her if she needs me. She loves going behind her litter tray. Behind her litter tray is her safe spot. When she gets scared she jumps behind it and sticks her head out to see whats going on. She has a hammock to sleep on with a ledge under it that she can go on and the hammock acts like covers on that ledge. There is a ramp leading up next to the hammock so she can easily get in and out of it. Her food bowl is in the front right corner and her cooling rock is in the front left corner next to her water. She loves her home just as much as I love it.
